GOTS and beyond: supply chain, responsibility, excellence
Starting with the SS26 collection, we have chosen to introduce GOTS-certified printed fabrics across our entire accessories line and a significant part of our apparel collection. A choice that goes beyond technical evolution, a step consistent with the way we have always interpreted silk (but not only): precious material that demands respect, care and responsibility at every stage of its transformation.
But what does GOTS really mean?
GOTS, Global Organic Textile Standard, is the most recognized international certification for fabrics made from organic natural fibers.
It does not simply verify and trace the origin of the raw material: it accompanies and monitors the entire supply chain, from fiber to yarn, from weaving to dyeing, through printing, steaming, washing and finishing processes. It is a system that allows us to guarantee transparency, traceability, and sustainability at every stage of production.
For us, this means working within a fully controlled supply chain, where every phase is part of a coherent story.
The selection of silk at the source, the transformation of yarn, the construction of fabric and all subsequent processes follow rigorous criteria, designed to reduce environmental impact and ensure the wellbeing of everyone involved.
Printing plays a central role in our production, and GOTS certification makes a real difference.
At this stage too, every element is regulated: from dyes to pigments, from finishing processes to final washes. The goal is not only to achieve the highest aesthetic quality — intense colors, depth and definition of design — but to do so through certified methods that meet precise environmental and social standards.
