We all have at least one tucked away in a drawer.
A scarf gifted by a mom, a grandma, or a dear friend. An accessory that carries stories and memories but transforms every time you wear it. For us, it’s more than just a detail: it’s where it all begins. Our collections, our garments, our vision.
But are we sure we truly know how to make the most of it?
During our workshop, Ilenia Piscopo (@il_camerino_) unveiled the magic of this iconic accessory, guiding our guests – influencers, fashion enthusiasts, and brand friends – through an afternoon filled with inspiration and clever styling tricks. It marked the first gathering of the Mantero 1902 Club.
Some used it as a belt or a pouch, adding character even to the simplest outfit. Others reinvented it as a collar on a t-shirt, turned it into a sunglass bandana, or used it as a touch of personality for a blazer. The boldest wore it as a top, while others highlighted its versatility in their hair: as a ponytail wrap, woven into a braid, tied bandana-style, or draped with that timeless elegance à la Audrey Hepburn. And someone even wore it over a baseball cap, for an urban and unexpected twist..
There were also ideas for bags and jewelry accessories. The scarf transformed into a necklace or a mini bag, enriched with metallic details. The formats? From the classic 70x70 and 90x90 to bandeaux and losanges – perfect for limitless experimentation.
And just as Milan shook off its gray sky, the sun peeked through during the workshop, illuminating a moment of genuine sharing.
