THE ATELIER
The Atelier is our creative heart – the place where designs are forged. The talent and energy of designers give life to hand-crafted authentic creations which are subsequently processed in digital format.

THE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
There are more than 120 people dedicated to product development.
Experienced employees and young talent combine experience and an innovative spirit which create unique luxury products aimed at an increasingly demanding market.
The style office defines the materials and coordinates the designing with the Atelier. It also defines the printing, weaving, finishing of garments and packaging processes.

Once the product is developed, the Masters of Colours will define its colour variants which combine charming tones with the latest trends.
It starts with a seasonal catalogue which features the classical to the most unusual colour ranges. Its colour combinations have been carefully designed to confirm the brand's mood, highlight the design, sublimate the decoration and enhance the complexion.

THE TEXTURE
Mantero’s textile tradition was born in the 1940s, with the acquisition of a small weaving company in Menaggio.
Today, Mantero has 30 jacquard looms, two heddle looms, two warpers and a 72-head winder.
The wide fabric range is differentiated by technique, type of yarn, processing, composition, different weights, structures, aspects and uses – ranging from the lightweight silk chiffon to jacket fabric, clothing and accessories.

THE SERIGRAPHIC PRINTING
The company’s silk screen printing technique is part of its heritage. It is a traditional, slow and meticulous process, which transfers the colour on the fabric screen after screen. The printing production unit is equipped with: Ten rotating printing tables, eight horizontal print carriage tables, a 12-colour screen printing, a nine-colour silk screen rotary press.
Years of knowledge offers up to 35 colours of silk screen printing.
Mantero has always been committed to the optimisation and innovation of printing processes. Following a research investment, Mantero’s "DOUBLE" printing technique has been patented. This is a silkscreen print technique which allows the same design to be printed on the front and the back of the fabric in a single session.

THE INKJET PRINTING
Digital evolution has made inkjet printing an indispensable part of industrial production. Mantero digital printing today guarantees an optimum colour rendering, high quality and a manufacturing flexibility to respond to the needs of an ever-changing market. The inkjet print unit now has eight inkjet printers.
