This iconic print was rediscovered using exclusive techniques. The design’s colours are based on an additive and subtractive colour technique, which was obtained using print and dyeing processes developed using our creative team’s artistic talent and knowledge. The final effect is sophisticated: colour alterations, a crescendo and diminuendo of nuances, unexpected contrasts that highlight a silky screen and chromatic mastery.
Silk twill. 27 colours. Handmade hem. An iconic design which aspires to become even more poetic.
Dyeing gives original colour shades to the rigorous and formal beauty of this historical carré. Over dyeing, which adds a vintage touch effect, starts from the carré’s diagonal opposite tops and degrades in intensity towards the centre, where the original colours appear briefly.
When twill becomes rock'n'roll.
A further final square print is added to the traditional 27 squares. This uses a decolouring paste which desaturates and alter the original colours.
Half of the design has been taken apart making it inconsistent and rock'n'roll! The contrast between the scarf’s twin souls is a yin yang, a game of light and dark - past and future.
