DEE DI VITA
Supporting women's’ beauty

Dee di Vita is a charitable initiative stemming from a partnership between Mantero 1902 and the San Raffaele Hospital’s Salute Allo Specchio Association.
With the help of patients undergoing care for an oncological pathology, we created the turban, which is a symbol of strength and courage which supports their beauty.

The Dee Di Vita project supported the Salute allo specchio Onlus and was the idea of Valentina Di Mattei and Giorgia Mangili. The aim was to provide psychological-social support for women being treated for cancer at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.

The turbans
The turban is a new styling of the classic carré. The Mantero creative team designed the creation with the valuable advice of the patients to make it simple and functional to wear. Turban prints, made of soft and bright silk twill, come from a selection of drawings from the Mantero archive.
