Where were you born, and where did you grow up culturally?
I was born in Milan but immediately moved to my beloved Lake Como, where I grew up and lived until I was 18. A wonderful place to grow up, but the "hunt for work" took me to Milan. I often go back to Como to get away from the hectic city life and recharge myself with poetry.
Tell me something about the city where you live...
I like Milan, in the last few years I think it has improved a lot. It offers many opportunities and, it is easy to cross by bike, which is essential for me.
What does the Italian "lifestyle" represent to you?
Tradition, good taste, and the search for beauty.
Where does your style originate?
I think that in work, as in life, my style comes from a constant observation and daily processing of everything that I see, that I like and making it my own. I take inspiration everywhere: nature, cinema, and tradition. From everything that arouses an emotion.
How do you use scarves, handkerchief, and bow ties?
Sometimes I use foulards instead of scarves, but I must wear simple clothes – silk is such a "predominant material", and it takes a certain formal cleanness to avoid overloading. I like the handkerchief, worn instead of a tie.
