DEE DI VITA
Supporting women's’ beauty

Dee di Vita is a charity started in 2016 from a partnership between Mantero and Salute allo Specchio of San Raffaele Hospital, providing psycho-social support. Psychologist Valentina Di Mattei and gynaecologist Giorgia Mangili initiated the project for women treated for oncological diseases at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.

The product’s sale proceeds are donated to actively support initiatives, activities and FR:projects for women undergoing chemotherapy treatment. The Dee Di Vita Turban has been designed by the Mantero creative team based on patients’ invaluable advice to make wearing easier and more functional.

The Collection
The turban prints, made of soft and bright silk twill, came from Mantero archive drawings. It is a unique product which is the perfect fusion of all Company and Brand values: the turban is made from Mantero’s core product, the 90x90 carré. It is feminine, fashionable, can be worn in a versatile way, has a charitable purpose and a unique, and deliberately democratic price.

DONATETHE EXHIBITION

"Donne ConTurbanti" is a photographic exhibition where Guido Taroni depicts the ethereal beauty in every woman and Dee Di Vita’s spirit of sharing and support. It is an exhibition in the making, showing portraits of women who interpret the turban in their own way. After its opening at the Triennale in Milan, the gallery was enriched by new shots, linked to project-related events and new initiatives.
